We set up there last year and had a great time. All three boys and I went up in the Huey. One of my boys shot a couple of the machine guns. Good, clean fun.

We will be going back this year.

Would it be worth having a CFF table there you think?
 
That is hard to say. It is a different crowd than a typical gun show and the foot traffic works differently. Most of the exhibitors are outside with a small gun show in the building. The gun show gets less foot traffic than some of the outside locations, largely because people aren't used to the gun show being there. Last year was the first year for it. It can also be hard to get a table at the show due to the limited space. I can PM you the number for the promoter if you want to talk with him. He is a really good guy. This is a labor of love for him rather than solely a commercial venture.

Ill take his number please. Maybe I could bring the cornhole boards, that seems to draw in some people (or atleast kids anyway)

I will probably take my daughter to help me this time, if she wants to go. I'll take her for a Huey ride, since the boys got to go up in it last year.
 
Last year, I let the Cobra pilot know that I was not interested in a scenic ride, but more realistic.
Boy did he give me my moneys worth. :D

Friend and I are going, we are planning on taking his M274 Mule.

Do you know what the age limits are for the Huey flight is? I have a little 10yr old friend I would like to take.

The website of the museum that does the helicopter rides lists 5 as the minimum age. Also says parent or guardian must ride with them. You might consider getting a signed permission letter from your little buddy’s mom, just in case.

She will love it. My boys had a large time in the Huey last year.

Come inside to the gun show if you get a chance. I'd like to meet you.
 
Easy peasy. When you come in the main entrance to the building where the gun show is, you'll run into my tables at the endcap. Catawba Collectibles. I'd tell you to look for all the milsurps, but there will be a couple people there with a bunch of them. :)

The copters flew in around 4, right as the rain was hitting. They didn’t show off for us like last year due to the weather.
 
Got the whole family on the Huey today. Kids had a blast my boys got to shoot a 1919 for free I blew threw 60 rnds on a Draco we all had a blast.

Also got to meet @cubrock btw he is one of the nicest guys you’ll meet.

Me and Shelby got the first ride on the Huey, and then she got to shoot an AK, and I did 6 seconds on the mini gun.
Ronnie with B&B arms is good people. I've known him for 30+ years.

Had a good time. Weather was fantastic for the event. Hope we have a good crowd tomorrow, too. Especially one looking to buy bulk MREs. Lol

I wanted to go up to Denton for this in the worst way but 4 weekends in a row up that way is a bit much from down here..

Can be. In the past, I’ve found my best deals outside with the vehicle folks, some of whom happened to have guns and surplus and stuff.
