Diamondback sidekick review?

Love mine. Plain and simple.
It's a cheap firearm worth its weight in gold.
The ability to fire sa/da is awesome. US the ability to swap and shot both .22lr and .22mag is great.
I keep .22CB in the cylinder to pop squirrel in the yard or while I'm in the deer blind. 22mag is for my larger animals I trap. Coyote or hog. So far nothing has failed and with the wood grips from DB is a lot more sexy to look at.
One big thing I love is the weight. I shoot cowboy action and have found most .22 revolvers are weighted odd. This one feels like a big bore but it's a .22lr.
Sights are lacking. But I'm use to the cowboy ones anyway.
Everyone I let shoot mine goes and buys their own. Even had a few trade in the Ruger Wrangler for one.
But all this comes from someone who doesn't like the heritage.22 at all.
Plus having a swing out cylinder is a game changer for lots of CAS people. Makes practice so much easier. Or the ability to swap ammo simply by opening it.

Just ordered one

I’ll be in it for about $325 after taxes, shipping and transfer. They are about $240 in the cart

I have several hundred rounds of 22 mag that I couldn’t trade for 9 mm so they will go to good use down range

Thank you gents

Dry fire assessment. With no rounds down range.

The double action trigger is HARD! No trigger gauge but it is a few mm of uptake then a “wall” that takes like what feels like 15 pounds and it’s boom time…

No slowly squeezing the trigger in DA
