I wait until I get home now to have a drink. I do miss a cold beer with steak or pizza.
Yup. Now that we can carry in restaurants that serve alcohol, I no longer spend the extra $8-10 on a drink when out with the wife. Triple-bonus!
NOPE!!! I've been all my drinkin' at home for a number of years....... I prefer my company....
I'm not much of a drinker to begin with so it doesn't affect me much. But I think it should be like driving and have a BAC limit. I don't see anything wrong with one beer with a meal.
Yeah it has. Now I drink at home or I carry in the car on the way and lock it in the car and tell the wife it’s hers from then on since she’s got her Ccp too

A little bit. Don't drink at all when I carry in public. When I am solo at the fire pit in the mountains I drink less. At home I'll drink some, but I am an endurance athlete so pretty mellow any way.
Getting older and moving away from friends did most of it in.
Yup and saving money when I go out. All is good!
I drink because I'm lonesome and I'm lonesome 'cause I drink.... mostly in the privacy of my own home. If I am going to go out and have a drink I leave the gun at home or locked in a box in the trunk.
No, I credit that to the hangovers,
Damn, you don't just carry the sawed off and set it on the bar like the rest of us?
I stopped many years ago but not because I was carrying- mainly. My employment depended on the clean driving record so it meshed right in when I started carrying.

But to clarify, I do all my drinking at home.

No. We are out at breweries 2 - 3 time a week, meeting and talking to friends and enjoying ourselves, the guns are at home. Life is too short to let paranoia interfere with enjoying life and friends, and a good craft beer.
Yea, yea, I know there are real threats and bad guys out there, but I'll be damn if I am going to be so damn paranoid about them that I don't do the things we really enjoy.
It has and it saved me a lot of money also. I do all my drinkin at home now. Thats how I found out my dog loves Scotch. I also have CDLs. So there's that too...
Sometimes, but mostly not. I didn't need to drink anyway.
One could use the same argument for just carrying while drinking anyways...
That's a great line Chris, we'll see you Oct 12th.
Yup, I may drink once per month and that’s either at home or for a work function.
Nope. But it did cut down on my rash decisions and confrontational attitude.
I walk away from situations before they can escalate.
Yes, but I rarely drank before. A couple of time a year I would visit a microbrewery for a burger and a couple strong ales, I tend not to do that any more.
No, my drinking cut down on my CC. I've stopped drinking so now I can CC more.
I always have a blade on me, and a expandable baton in the door pocket.
No because I usually carry a frag grenade with me when I'm out drinking, never seen a law prohibiting grenades at a restaurant where they serve alcohol, but maybe there is, so sue me.
Seriously, I leave my edc at home if I am gonna drink at an eatery and always have the truck gun where it belongs anyway , I don't go to bars much anymore. More something to do with age really, just too old to put up with a bunch of drunk punks. Deer camp is different, no punks allowed there anyway.
Nope. Getting sober 36 years ago cut down on my drinking completely.

Why not just open carry, in NC, and have a drink any way?
Like a lot of ya'll it was easy for me. Never much of a drinker anyway.
I did develop a soft spot for rum runners livin in the Keys. But a lot of that was because they were cold.
One thing I did notice. My buddies all know about me & the guns. We'll be at someplace and one of them wants to buy the beers. I politely say no thanks...sweet tea.
"Wut? C'mon man...don't be that guy!"
"Oh yeah right ok."
They leave me alone about the drinkin, are happy to have at least one guy around that's not buzzy, (bonus for having a gun and knowing how to use it) and I usually get the truck keys thrown to me when we leave. I'm the safe guy, with a gun. A rare find. They like it.
I'm much more comfortable taking beers on the atv riding the trails here and bouncing off the trees. That's just good American fun right there.
CC cut down on my drinking outside the house. Course if I am driving it don't matter how I'm dressed. My friends know if I say I'm not dressed for it when beer is offered I'm carrying.
Rotator cuff surgery cut out cc as I don't have a left handed holster.
No but getting married did and I found out Monday I have a couple spots on my liver to go along with my diverticulitis so I'll probably quit altogether now even though I don't drink much.
I prefer to drink at home & we don't eat out a lot. On the very rare occasion we do go out, I do like a drink with a good meal, so it's "truck gun" & a sober wife with a CHP.
Nope, but retiring did.
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed unless they have a beer with dinner.
Then infringe at will.
So just a "little" Paranoia.
I’m such a heathen outlaw......
Hard to cut down from never having had a drink in your life.
But the streak has continued.
I don't drink any more.
...or any less.

So, you open carry when streaking?
