No.

Classic Arms email gathering scheme.

Definitely not.

Wanted one briefly. Very 2008 looking rifle. Does anyone even shoot 308 anymore?

And also a no on Classic arms.

I've had two. One was NIB that I traded when the CA ban caused prices to spike dramatically on them.

The other I bought here used last year. It was okay, but not worth what they cost to me, in the end. I sold it and haven't looked back.

If I won one, I'd sell or trade it.

You can find them cheaper than that. They aren’t nearly as expensive now as they were a year ago. I’ve seen new ones as cheap as $2800 in recent weeks. They still ain’t cheap, though.

1:12 twist on a “distance” rifle? No thanks

FN also voids the warranty with suppressor use (for the civilian market). Also a no

Free would be nice. Not paying what FN or anybody else making similar looking guns wants. Have a PSA AR10 or whatever they call it and it's been a PITA. Extremely accurate but still a PITA. Would never buy another semi auto 308 without an adjustable gas block.

You would think for that money you would get a non reciprocating charging handle or a gun that murders most optics within a few hundred rounds. Alas you get both with one of these.

SOCOM went back and forth over the reciprocation handle. In the end that was what was chosen. Don't put cheap glass on it. Gun is light and balance before adding all the attachments.

I wouldn't say it's "light," but for a 7.62 platform, it's fine. My Noveske N6 weighs just as much as one. I've shot the Scar, many times, as a buddy has one. Overall I like it, but it isn't without it's flaws just like any other gun/platform.
