Nice display of levers and revolvers.

Careful when you close that case.

Just got back the the range and it was hot, 97. Only shot 3 handguns and those 2 rifles.

That Model 60 has to have one of the better triggers that I have ever shot in a revolver. At 15 yards shooting the 60 and 66, all shots were from bullseye to about 2 1/2 towards 3:00. The Charter Arms was 6:00 about off the paper. I might have to get someone to trimmed off the front sight of the Charter Arms.

Shooting at 50 yards with the 38/357 on a 12 x 18 target, the 38's were low on the target and the 357's were around the bullseye. Had a problem with 44 Specials in the other rifle. When cycling the rounds, it would through them out of the rifle. When I went to the 44 Magnums rounds, I had no problems. All of those too were around the bullseye at 50 yards. Tried to shoot a spots on the beam @ 110 meters and was within 5 or so inches of where I was aiming.

Besides the front sight on the CA getting lowered, I am going to see about having the loading gate on the Rossi 357 lightened up some. I can almost drop rounds into the 44 loading gate. You got to be careful on the 357 because it will bite.

Took the EDC g19 out back to shoot the new spinning target I picked up today. Spun it around a few times, shot about 200 rds total...everything was good. Just cleaned it after about 800 rounds between last cleaning. I cannot say enough, moving out to the country to have some space to shoot was the best decision we've ever made. Now it's time to stop buying guns and buying more ammo and targets.

Yep. Went to FLD to break in my G17.5 with an Advantage Arms upper and a G19.5. If my daughters didn’t shoot them so well, I would swap out triggers because they are too far back for me. But they do and I like to sleep, so stock they stay

Yes, it was hot. Geezer and I swapped out the trigger I bought from him in my 48, and ran some rounds through it. Trigger was great. The apple pie and ice cream was awesome, as was the company. Absolutely love hanging out at the Battery Oaks. Thanks as always to @BatteryOaksBilly and RS for having me.

Yup... last day of practice before Camp Perry. Shot some sitting and prone with the service rifle (since I tanked it last weekend at Butner) and warmed up the Garand & '03 rifles too. Giving Modern Military a try this year so I had to configure a carbine to meet their 7.5# weight limit. I bought a set of DD A1 sights a few weeks ago, so I put a zero on those today too.

Pretty dang hot to be putting on a shooting coat. Looking forward to mid 80 degree temps in Ohio!

Somewhere between 2/300 with the Carry Optics rig, 100 through the full-size 1911.
Times were slow, hits were meh, slide on the G17 got hot enough to leave no doubt I'm touching it with my support hand thumb.
Everything chrono'd a tic low.

Took my middle boy and went to our range on Saturday around 6:30PM. It was still hot af but tolerabled. He sure liked the new target stands, and gave them a nice workout with his P09. He can't shoot my P320C worth a darn though and kept telling me it was 'off, something ain't right'. Then dear ol Dad picked it up and hit dead center of steel on the 10" target he had been shooting at from 7yds :D
I think I taught him something today, which is most of the time it ain't the gun ;)

Anyhow we managed to shoot the 70yd steel plant hanger in half with his AK so it's time to redo the rifle plate setup. I'll make a post about it and close the comments off so I don't end up with another 70+ post thread on how other people would do it :D

Glad he won't have to wait till he's my age to learn the "it's not the gun, it's me" lesson!! Good going, Dad! Lol.

And I'll open it back up just so we can make sure you do it right this time.

Made it out to H2O today. Took my Shield, my 1911, and my new CZ. Ran about 30 rounds of PMC and ZQI through each of the Shield and 1911. Only problem I had was the 1911 not locking back on last round. The CZ was great....ran about 100 rounds through it....most accurate for me of the bunch. Will be my EDC once I get a holster for it. Wasn't crazy about the heavy trigger pull for the DA so might need to do a little something with it.

As usual, a couple boxes thru the 66-1. Today, I began shooting paper trying to get a better idea of what’s happening.

After, I went to paint the steel and noticed this. Now what?????

Billy, what caliber? 7.65mm Browning, 9mm Browning or 9mm Makarov? (for those that really know, there were some 83s in 9x19. There are differences between the 82 and 83s)

CD
Yes Sir, mine is .380. I had been having difficulties getting a full mag through. All set now. I removed 1 coil from recoil spring and slightly bent in outside mag lip for more retention. It was a combo of early release and short stroke. I ordered some mags for it hoping newer mag springs would stop the problem but they had No effect. Anyway I finally got it running. Hurry home safe and we'll shoot some of this mess.

Had a good day at the range, and I only took 3 guns. :) First, I had some loads worked up for my FNX45. Seems it likes hotter loads than I use in my other guns. I also shot up some of the previous test loads in my S&W 625 (it is more fun shooting them in the revolver than to pull the bullets). I also shot my AR pistol to get the red-dot dialed in.

When I got back, I did the normal gun cleaning, and sorting/decapping the brass. While I was picking up brass at the range, I found a single 10mm case, so I spent probably 10 extra minutes just looking for more 10mm brass. No more were found. :(
