Different AR platform PCC (not 9mm)

I’m itching for something new. 10mm PCC would kick serious sphincter. What’s the skinny on making that happen?

If not 10mm, then 45acp.

It will ride in a SBR lower and the can(s) are already on the shelf waiting to go play.

I don't have one nor do I have any experience with one. It's what immediately comes to mind though. Would love to get one some day.

If you don’t already have the lower registered as an SBR, go SBS with an AR-410.

I have a banshee in 45acp and it runs well. I’m playing with load data in anticipation of getting a can for it soonish (I’ve been saying it for 6+ months, just gotta do it).

Don't understand how you have a SBR lower only but will take your word .
Guess most of it would depend on the lower you have and what will run in it?

I would run the newer CMMG upper with no buffer tube then side folder.

Ive got a few 45 cal AR's. Truth be told though Im a huge juvenile lead waster. Theyre accurate if I aim and all that but for me the fun is in mag dumps and nothing says yahoo like sending a pound of lead down range in 3 seconds. Build a dedicated grease gun lower 45 AR with a FRT trigger ( theyre kind of legal again right? ) and pull that trigger 30 times in 3 seconds. Lots of fun.
CMMG rotary is the way to go BTW. 45 Blowback sucks and dont get me started on 45 Glock mags.

Macon Armory in GA makes a really nice conversion kit if you want to retain the AR SBR lower too.

The CMMG 45ACP uppers can take 45 Super rated loads which hover in the 700 ft/lb range and are well into 10mm power levels.

I obtained a banshee in 45 as well. I haven't gotten as many rounds through it as I'd like but has been excellent so far.
I want a can for it too, I *hear* they're great hosts. But I don't even know where to start.

Ive had one of those and it was a lot of fun. They wont run FA worth a damn but semi they are like shooting a .22 with balls.
