It's a few years old but damn.
Seems like a perfect opportunity for non lethal force. The cop had backup.
I just don't see how a professional LEO let that escalate to trigger press.

 
There was NO F'n reason for any force. They were terrified, submissive and obedient.
How the hell did the murderer pass the psych test?!?
Oh well, it doesn't Matter, because they had low melatonin levels.
BYW, where was Charels Rangle the next day???

We have discussed this case in detail. But the one thing that really puts it over the top crazy with me is the cop shouting commands, is NOT the officer that fired his weapon it was his Sargent. Then afterwards in fear that they were going to be indicted the officer giving the commands gave his notice and moved to the Philippines unable to testify. I actually know a good bit about this case from listening to the widows civil attorney. Last I heard they are still in court and yes the officer that fired the shots had left the department then came back and took a medical retirement for ptsd. On the inside of his dust cover it said "Your Fuc%#d" Sorry . It is a very relevant part of the case towards the mentality that this particular officer took into his job then filed PTSD and received it is total BS.
