Dixie 7/31-8/1

Barring incident, I should be there. Probably Sat Morning sometime closer to lunch.

I'll probably be there. Need to try on a few pistols for size.

I plan to as well. Likely won't be the guy carrying the, "SELL ME YOUR J-FRAMES, MEEET ME IN THE 'BASEMENT'" sign though. Also, if you do see me and see me with an armful of blue boxes......NO, they aren't for sale, it just means I haven't found a way to stop buying yet!

Here now, short wait to enter with concealed pistol. Lots of vendors. One selling a S&W NIB 15-22 rifle for $849 😱
One vendor $40 off all of his new handguns. Ammo plenty at market prices.

I’m looking for a smith and Wesson model 19 carry comp performance center if you guys happen to see one this afternoon.

Just got back from the show. I forgot my phone at home so unable to contact some members I was hoping to find. Not too crowded but way more sauce/spice/jerky than usual. Seemed ammo prices still kinda high. My primary mission was to sell a Remington 1100 and try on some Glocks. Accomplished both. Think I've decided on the G 43X MOS

Went with a friend. Some of the vendors had some really laughable prices, like $775 for a Yugo SKS, but most were kinda what I expected. Saw Cubrock, busy as ever so didn't get a chance to chat, but didn't see anyone else with any CFF apparel. Probably overpaid but picked up a 300 BO with heavy barrel upper complete with BCG for $450

Pretty neat show! The guy selling stuff along with cubrock at Catawba Collectibles has got some pretty neat stuff that folks will probably be interested in. If I had the money burning a hole in my pocket, some of those guns would have came home with me. :)

What time do they open today (Sunday)? Website shows 10. Seems late.

That soumi was calling to me for sure. Glad it sold before I made a decision

Met a buddy out there I hadn't seen in awhile so it was more a social outing over guns. Good to see ammo prices dropping back down some.

Bought a spam can M1 carbine from cubrock at Catawba Collectibles and a few other odds and ends for WWII collection.

What type of bayonets do you collect?
Yes. :)

Most any kind really. If they strike my fancy or have a cool design. I do tend to focus on ones that fit weapons I own first, along with sword bayonets whenever possible, but I am not picky. Sometime I need to pull them all out and picture them, I am probably sitting on close to 50 or 60 at this point. This weekend's catch was a Swiss 1914 pioneer bayonet.
