Dixie will be the 21st and 22nd. I'll be there with my wife's candles (Lee Lee's Lights) and with Carolina Smoke and Guns. Come on over and see us. Shawn has some of the best prices at the show on handguns plus he can scratch your Class 3 itch.

I'll be there. Possibly looking for a lower, maybe some powder, misc parts.

I'm there. Have to pass on the candles though, I have electricity.

I always say I wont go to these, then I remember I have no life and go anyway. Then curse when I leave that there was nothing good there and prices suck. Then people bitch at me "well apparently you didn't come to my booth and look at all the great prices on stuff i have you don't want."

So why don't we just skip to the part where I feel bad :p

Last show I went to was in early 2013 I think. And it was jam-packed, are they still like that?

I feel like this is likely a direct jab at me. Which is fine. I'll tell you what, the next new gun you want to purchase, send me a pm or give me a call. I'll give you a quote on whatever you want. And I seriously doubt you will be able to beat the price. My reputation speaks for itself.

As far as me "bitching" is concerned, if what I said to you on the open forum constitutes as bitching, I am assuming you aren't married or never have been.

That jab wasn't only at you there have been others.
I am looking for a Kahr P45, let me know the price and if you'll have one at the gun show next sat/sun in Raleigh and ill appologize
I've been happily married for almost 8 years now, and yes bitching was a poor choice in words

PM sent Zedhound

Carolina Smoke and Guns will be there, we will have great prices that are in line with the best of the gun show prices and I will try to beat any show price just give me a chance. If I can I will if not I will be honest with you. Just placed an order to add stock so should have several full tables of handguns for you to fondle and hopefully purchase. Also still have Aero Precision lowers at a great price. Stop by and see us. We offer great customer service and are female friendly, we will not push a 22 or pink revolver into a ladies hand unless that is what she really wants. Support a local triangle business, thank you. Shawn

It depends on when you go. I like to go on Sunday mornings around 10:30. If you are there at 10 when they open there will usually be a line, but it will diminish quickly. It usually will not start getting very crowded until around noon. Remember that you cannot bring in firearms through the regular entrance--you must enter (and park) through a special entrance on the west side, called Gate 4 I think.

Tar Heel State Firearms will be there. We will also have our fingerprinting/photo equipment there for NFA applications.

If you were there after Sandy Hook, that was just a crazy time. I remember the line wrapped all the way around the building. Nope, not like that now (thank God). The Dixie show is the larger of the 2 shows (C&E being the other one) but still has not been too crowded lately.

I plan on making it. I try to never miss a show in Raleigh. The admission price is cheap entertainment for me, but I also usually pick up some powder or primers when I am there.

We'll be there when they open the doors on Saturday. By noon it'll probably be pretty busy, by then we'll be at Raleigh Brewing Co, before heading out for some buffalo wings...

Thinking out loud for y'all to here,,, how do you go about getting a table and wondering if any guys around here (Raleigh) would want to split a table. I've have a few things I could sale.

Right now you would have to show up friday and see if she had any cancellations.

Will have some LCP 2s and Shield 45s at competitive prices. Also will have suppressors ready to send in paperwork.

Agree entirely... want to meet up for a healthful and appetizing burger Mr Rudder?

Would love to. Not sure when I will be there, but it is looking like Sunday morning right now. I will text you when I know for sure.

Now I wish I had already ordered a CFF shirt so I could wear it to the show. Hope to go with my brother and brother in law.

I will be there Sunday.
No idea what I'll be wearing, so I'll be hard to find unless you just know me. 😊

Yeah I should be there! Thinking Sunday, personally. My 1911 hasn't sold yet, so I won't have the surplus funds I'd hoped to have for this show, but I'll be checking out who has what deals! I'll be looking to see what I can find for a Ruger American in 45, myself, plus looking into the availability of reloading supplies. :)

Haven't been to one in awhile, wife told me it was in Raleigh...I think she's trying to get rid of me.

I was there Saturday, celebrated the inaguration Friday night a little too much. Was sweating it all out by time I made it to Shawn's table. Nice to see primers back under $30/k,

I went on Sunday. The crowd and atmosphere was very relaxed in the show. Didn't have that tense feeling that shows seemed to have while Obama was pres. All I bought was a pound of powder, and I stopped by the kydex holster booth to have a holster made. I saw a few good deals here and there, but no guns came home with me.

I saw more keltec carbines and KSG's at this show than I have at any show in recent memory. Ammo prices seemed normal.

Seems the tazer guys have all been replaced with jewelry and scented candle ladies. That was different.

Went on Sunday.
Was looking for a 9mm buffer kit for my AR 9mm, but no luck.
Also tried to find a scope mount for a friend for his AR with 20moa base, but again, no luck.

Want to find a Swiss K31, but those were way expensive compared to 6mo ago and not that good of shape.

Did leave with 3 large ammo cans, $10/ea.

I went both days. Saturday was just plain crazy. Apparently there were a couple of big attractions on the fairgrounds which caused the parking to be full early, we were not even able to get inside the first fence to park. The line to get in at 11:00 was not long, but once inside it was really crowded and hot. They did not cut on the ventilation system until about 11:30. I bought a couple of pounds of powder and 4 boxes of primers, then we decided to leave after only an hour.

Sunday was much nicer, parking was normal and the crowd inside was about half of what it was Saturday. The reason I went back on Sunday was because I had a friend from Danville that wanted to get into reloading, so I hooked him up with about everything he needed (Cover Six did REALLY well, I must say). I was there for 3 hours which is about my limit for these shows.

Hotter than hell in there. Cover Six usually takes most of my money at the shows. Great folks. I ended up leaving my coat with them while I finished up the last couple isles of the show.

I think I'll start waiting until Sunday from now on. It looks like they started carrying Dillion, I'm doomed....

Blue Collar gets a lot of my powder and primer business, but I occasionally buy from Cover Six as well.

When other vendors were charging $40+ per pound of Bullseye, C6 kept his prices < $29. I try to support him when I can. The friend that I was helping out on Sunday ended up buying a Dillon 550B and everything needed for 9mm loading, all from C6. It was fun spending someone else's money. :D

You know what? They spent time with me when I was getting started, answered my questions, were patient, etc. Even if they were, with in reason a little more, I would still buy from them.
