It's not often I find stuff like this that may be worth trying but it might me useful in my aging years.

 
That is an interesting idea. I can see where it would be useful.
 
Limited usefulness. Hard packed trails and old logging roads/railroad grades, sure. Folks have used carts going into Hazel creek for years on the old dirt road. Single track, moderate to difficult trails, no thanks. I can't imagine using that thing on the trail we day hiked the other day.

Ultimately my gear is more than that bag. But I've got my pack weight down to about 30-35 lbs and weight is a non issue anymore.

Agreed. I’m thinking more along the lines of horse trails and old railroad grades for people with certain disabilities. Might allow them to get out and enjoy some level of camping on the trail.

I was imagining trying to get that thing through Linville Gorge, lol. Ain’t happening.
