I found this on an overlanding group and thought the idea was quite clever. His intent was for overlanding/camping but obviously it has its uses for survival and power outage situations as well. The user was nice enough to share his parts list as well.

This is the stank tank portable water system. I have 1 left and am selling it at my cost ($120) This is a self contained 7 gallon portable water system that uses a 12 volt cigarette lighter plug to create 35 psi of pressure through a garden style sprayer. Provides about 7 minutes of continuous flow and shuts off automatically when you turn off the sprayer. The pump is a marine grade seaflo pump that comes with a 2 year manufacturers warranty.
Perfect for:
* Overlanding
* Boating / fishing
* Mountain Biking
* Camping
* Hunting
* Showering
* Cleaning outdoor equipment

Features:
* 7 gallon capacity
* Sprayer with multiple spray patterns
* Heavy duty milk crate with climbing webbing handles
* Sprays at 35psi (12'-15' distance)
* 10' cord and 8' hose for a total of 18' reach from your power source
* In tank prefilter
* Heavy duty military style storage pouch for electric cord and hose / sprayer
* Heavy duty 12 volt cigarette male plug with 2 prong disconnect to add other volt style plugs or clamps
* Water Container vent for fast easy flow
* Carabiner clip for hanging up sprayer
* Stainless steel / rust free tube clamps
