Does anyone make a range bag that's not a black box?

I found a smallish one at LLBean, it's kind of shaped like the old doctor bags, if you're old enough to remember when they made house calls...and I am!
It's big enough to hold my 3 main guns and some glasses and ear muffs, a couple of boxes of rounds. If you take your arsenal with you to the range, this is not for you! It's got plenty of pockets for the small stuff and has regular handle as well as a shoulder strap.

I have that same bag and it’s a good one. A bit large for weekly pistol shoots but good for multiple pistols.
At matches, I leave the big bag in the truck and take out the smaller inner "handbag" which is perfect for a couple hundred rounds of ammo, half a dozen mags, eyes and ears, with the zippered pouches on each side.

When it comes to guns or any gun gear: everything is tactical.

You have to travel deep in to the competition world and (gasp) get European stuff to avoid it. 99% of the stuff made has some kind of military/operator-ish design to it. So you get black, and MAYBE fde, or OD.

Can you give me some links to look at?

For some reason I just cannot open this link haha. What's the name of the product so I can search for it?

Midway USA competition range bag

When you find it, watch the video. About two and a half minutes. Theres like two pics and they dont show squat that bag has going on lol

This one has been great for me. If I am shooting handguns that day I'll use the pistol inserts. If not I pack that area with rear bags and a bipod for rifles. Lots of flexibility. It's also nice if you are carrying something else and need the backpack capability.

I almost bought one of those last year. Caught a brick and mortar going out of business and they had two of em marked $99 each.
I got a 42 in Drago double rifle bag for $40, but I still kick myself for not snagging one of those backpacks.

5.11 also sells the same bag under their name as MidwayUSA.com. The 5.11 pics display the inner smaller bag that is integrated into it that I use all the time, then the small "duffle" style ammo bag, the spent brass bag. Mine also came with two separate nylon zip up pouches about the size of a manilla file folder that you can put two pistols in and segregate them from all the crap rattling around in the bag, keep them dry in the rain, carry them to the firing line covered like some ranges require, etc. That bag just comes with all kinds of cool stuff.

See if this opens

I have that one too. Nice bag.

Is it a problem if you own more bags than guns? :(

I have about 8 or 9 of these bags and just ordered another one since they are on sale plus a 25% off code.
A $50 bag for $18.99 that comes in 9 colors and carries everything I need to the range. Have been using them for years and they hold up well.
Bought a bright red one just for medical/emergency stuff and loaded it up.
Use code CYBER2018 for an additional 25% off for Cyber Monday.

We could change your screen name to Imelda Marcos.

Actually I only have 3 range bags. That's not too bad. The original small Blackhawk I bought when I got my first pistol. Think it was $20. The 5.11 was next so I could bring multiple pistols and accessories to the range in one bag. And the GPS backpack when I bought my first rifle. Oh, and a soft sided rifle case too. So 4. So I'm ok. Although a nice hard Pelican or something would be handy.

Yesterday, I ordered one of each color (9) for $13 each as door prizes for the end of year awards ceremony in the match I run.

I have the Midway bag linked and moved away from it for the GPS handgunner backpack. Works well but I really need to look into something different for carbine stuff and ammo. My next bag will likely be the GPS Special Weapons Case for my SBR, can, and mag carry. But it's still a black box. Maybe they'll release gray or FDE?
