One of those popped up for sale on Arfcom a few days ago for $10k. I swear the ATF is trolling the hell out of that site. Always see ads for FA sears (which I know is a repair part, but still) and other stuff in the non-nfa sections.

I think they've been around since the beginning of Mini-14 production, kinda neat, looks pretty affordable for FA.
GIGN used them for something. Seems like some Latin country issued them, but I may be mistaken.
Looks like production ended in '99.
