Ingenious and expensive.

I want to check these things out, but they don't make them for walther yet.
Have you checked out the MantisX Blackbeard for ARs?
As soon as I can gather a couple weeks without spending too much money on accessories, I'll order one.
But birthday money is in the mail, so maybe that will be sooner rather than later.

Expensive because to use one I'd have to buy a gun to go with it. NO Glocks, M&Ps, or P320s in this house.

Why no HK? Do they hate me too? Won't work stuffed in backwards?

I saw a link to a video of "How it works"....

Didn't tell me how it works.

Found a descriptions section titled "Everything you need to know" about this product.

I saw that too.

Apparently they produce something and give it out to youtube personalities who then endorse the product they got for free.

exactly why i didn't buy one when i heard about them a couple years ago. it looks like maybe it sits right against the trigger bar and that's why it "works". But it doesn't look like it's exactly like a resetting trigger the same way a striker would. Seems like that we gun nuts would have been all over it if it had been working well for 3+ years at this point.

this video hints at most of that.

I need to do some research first. It seems like a awesome product if it can actually reproduce dry firing and trigger rest.

I've had one for a few years; use it fairly regularly in a G34. The spring broke at some point, and I had it repaired by the manufacturer (not under warranty, cost me something but I don't recall what).

It doesn't feel exactly like the striker drop on a Glock, but it does allow you to catch the trigger reset of sorts and do strings of fire without having to take your hands of the gun to rack the slide.

Click isn't loud enough to set off my noise activated laser cartridge, so no using it with any of the shot reporting apps/cameras.

It also won't drop free so you can't do mag changes easily.

Basically as a portion of my dryfire practice I find a lot of value in it. I probably do about 1/3 of my dryfire with it in, the rest of the time I'm working on something not related to 'multiple shots'.

Does it feel about the same as the rubber band in the ejection port trick?

As others are surprised they don’t make them for Walther, HK, CZ , etc I’m surprised there’s not one for the Beretta 92, but “Glock perfection “ and all 😜

oh no, it's much more of a real trigger feel than that. it doesn't feel as crappy as a glock trigger does, which is why I say it doesn't feel like the real striker drop.

If/when this one breaks or wears out again I'll get another one. Even when ammo was cheap it's nice to be able work on prepping the trigger while doing transitions and such dry at home vs. only being able to do that at the range.

Maybe it doesn't work?

I tend to trust @Jayne's opinion, so guess I will be ordering one. 💸

You don't trust paid influencers but you trust me? Can't tell if I should feel honored or appalled.

We could probably meet in our favorite parking lot and you could check mine out before you order if you want. Just don't scare the Karens.
