Forgive me gunfather for I have sinned.

In the haste to prep and paint my new 700 rem 223 build I installed the 20moa rail backwards.

A used 700SA receiver, a new X caliber barrel, new stock, timney 2 stage trigger,

Why??? Git-it-together-itus is a strong, strong disease.

The first coat of Aluma-hyde 2 never cured hard (like the 3 other times I've used it). Brake cleaner took it off cleanly.

I tried again but the rain was coming as I degreased with non-chlorinated brake cleaner and reassembled the action, mount, and barrel. I baked it at 275 for 4 hours and it was somewhat harder.

I took it to the range today for the barrel break in. Shoot one and clean 10X, then shoot 3 and clean, and shoot 5x and clean.

Afterwards I went to put it on paper and had to make a massive elevation change

A closer look revealed I had the 20moa EGW mount backwards. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Dang it!
