Durham ?!?

The attacker have a mental problem??? … stabbing/cutting the clerk. TO ME the LEO’s really had Less Lethal or go to guns. TO ME going to guns to end the threat to the deadly clerk quickest was best … but I can hear the liberals “you didn’t have to kill him you could have tased him”. Anyway like always … I hope the attacker was not black since that will raise the race question in addition to questioning LEO’s using deadly force.

I wasn't there, and I have not seen video, so I can't judge. That said, if the booger eater was actively attacking someone, he deserved to be shot. It's pretty binary to me.

Drunk ain’t an excuse for stabbin’/slashin’ another person … but again I can hear the liberal chorus warming up … you should have teased him first … even if he keeps in stabbin’/slashin’.

I never said it was an excuse, but liquid courage would certainly explain why the guy just fell over when tazed ... and then got up fighting, afterward.

Knives are lethal and a child was in danger from it at one point (nevermind the slashing at officers), so from my angle, it's a no-brainer that it was a good shoot.

I think y’all are talking about two different incidents. @surrealone - wasn't that a crash on the highway where an intoxicated guy got out with a knife and a kid, got tased, got up and slashed at officers, and was shot?
The original post @Jmoser in this thread was about an incident that happened overnight at a Circle K in Durham where someone attacked the cashier

Dang, you're right, I conflated the two incidents. Thank you for the correction and sorry about that!
 
I drove by that scene yesterday around 3PM. It's a miracle nobody was killed in the wreck. It was a huge crime scene.
