Duty belt, range belt, that camo belt you wear galavanting around the house in your purple banana hammock practicing clearing rooms. Yeah you know what I'm talking about. So I'm looking at buying one, blue alpha gear just started sponsoring my favorite podcast so I was looking at their product because I love my Vickers sling and they support the degenerates I listen to at work. Does anyone have this duty belt? If so are you happy with it?

Also how do you attach your mag pouches? I emailed esstac and they said to use a Velcro wrap, according to their blog post the malice clips don't mix well with the 1.75" belts. Maybe I'm ridiculous but is that a durable solution? It seems most double belts are 1.75" now outside of blue alpha gear.

I'm new to this... So sorry for the squanchin long post.
 
Oh also esstac CS emailed me back in just under 24 hours to respond to my question on mag attachment and what to use with cz mags. Yeah of course the squancher is also a hipster. Anyway here's that blog post

Micro Pals webbing belts and attachments

There is allot of confusion about mounting PALS compatible pouches to Micro PALS belts and what is the best attachment system. Below is what I believe is the best way to attach a pouch to this type of belt.Before we start the following two links would help you get started with what the webbing...

So if I'm understanding correctly to prent sag either buy a super thick belt or you do the full Velcro wrap around thing to get a complete 1.75" vertical attachment vs the the what 1" of molle attachment?
Edit : and newbie buy Velcro wrap around because you don't know what you're doing and you'll probably need to move mag pouches a few times as you learn 😂

The malice doesnt make any sense to me because on esstacs website it says 3" but most belts are 1.75" so what's the extra material for?

Also did the blue alpha gear belt feel like high quality compared to competitors products?

Extra material for weaving malice through the loops.
 
I’ve got one of the blue alpha gear double belt systems. I use the Esstac mag pouches mounted with the WTF straps. It’s a pain in the tail to get them mounted right but, once it’s done it’s solid.image.jpg

Do you find any trouble getting your hand on the rearward pistol magazine with it being a double setup? I was debating getting two singles or one double.

Hasn’t been an issue for me.
 
The center relief is the key to MOLLE / PALS interface. Known as the even numbered rows counting down from the top.

The even number rows control the vertical lift/drop.

The PALS 1.5" column width with a 1" MOLLE Strap controls the horizonal slide.
 
This is the Gcode assaulters system. So this is their belt, mag pouches, and holster. I plan to run it with the padded inner belt but also have the Velcro belt.

I also run a blue alpha belt but it’s mainly for cc. It’s a much stiffer belt than the gcode but I like gcodes mounting system for pouches and holsters.

Looks nice. For us non-tactical, middle aged plump guys how do I attach one of my holsters to their gizmo?
