EAA Girsan BHP Clone

cheap enough that I can grind off the Read Manual stamp and refinish it!

The only issue is the serial number is right next to it which is actually a better location than most FN frames. You can checker it if it is not to thin.

Looks like the same gun marketed as a Tisas recently. I've read that it is a carbon copy of the FN BHP. I know the barrel is.

It is not the Tisas. They are both Turkish made guns but this is made at a different facility. The tell are the sight cuts. These look like traditional MKIII cuts. Hopefully the dimensions are consistent with the FN/Browning.

The Tisas has Novak like cuts which are wonky and you can't install Novaks and they are hard to recut. Novak won't touch them. Others will but have to weld them up.

If I didn't already have two Hi-Powers I'd consider giving this one a try. The Turks make fine firearms.

hmmm

another thing to buy, shoot one then sell at a loss…

count me in!
Come on man!!!!

Sell it at a loss BEFORE shooting it. Why compound your loss with the cost of ammo? 🤓

Wait, so someone is bringing a Hi Power clone again? But its EAA. They have terrible customer service... but the Girsans they have brought in have been rather nice overall.

I hope it turns out good... maybe Ill keep my eyes peeled for one if they turn out solid.

Never did get ahold of a Hi Power <_<
