I'm hosting the fourth Elements of USPSA class this Sunday at Freedom Gun Club, and we still have three spots open, if you're interested. The class is limited to 8 shooters to guarantee you won't just be lost in the crowd.

Elements of USPSA - Core Skills is a full-day class that breaks down USPSA in to its component pieces. You’ll learn how to refine the foundational elements of your shooting, like drawing, reloading, moving efficiently, and shooting accurately at speed, to produce consistent, repeatable results.

During the class, you'll practice executing these skills in the context of different target difficulties, navigating stages, and avoiding dead time. You will leave understanding how to improve your performance and consistency at matches, and identify specific areas to develop in practice.

This class is for anyone from D-class to GM who wants to further develop their skills, technique, and speed.

However, this class is not an introduction to USPSA; you should be equipped with a basic familiarity of the USPSA scoring, rules, and safety guidelines.

You should bring:
  • Competition-suitable gun
  • Outside-the-waistband holster
  • 5+ magazines + pouches
  • 500 rounds
  • Bag lunch
Location: Freedom Gun Club (24 Dunn Rd, Louisburg, NC 27549)
Fee: $130
Instructor: Ben Berry
The class will start promptly at 10am going until 5pm, and we'll have short lunch break around noon.

We're using Practiscore to do registration: https://practiscore.com/elements-of-uspsa-core-skills-27-may-2018/register They just rolled out their new system of requiring an account to register, so if you have trouble getting signed up, just email me at my first name @berryshooting.com

In. I heard just signing up for the class is worth .2 seconds

Thanks everyone for coming to the class. Even as the instructor, I had some lightbulb moments about how to explain and think about my own technique and training. It was cool having a smaller group than usual because I was able to run drills a little differently and I hope everyone got more out of it.

Wow, wish that I'd seen this earlier. Hopefully you will host another class in the not to distant future.
