Eric Church. Done went crazy.

His face book page only allows comments on posts, but most are giving him a hard time. A few on youtube, but not many. The "Church Choir" FB page must be privately operated, it is scrubbed completely clean in the comments.

Spent last night thumbing down all his songs that came up on Pandora. I don't buy music so that's the closest I come to supporting artists I guess.

Change the mood in here.

I know nothing about those two guys you posted videos to...but like I just got done consoling my brother from the inevitable turn of his former "country" hero...
Don't trust those guys one inch. They're "making money" with their stories and songs. If there's a little more money to be had for just a little more story, they'll do it.

hmmm where to begin:

Used to like Eric when he first came out, saw him at Coyote Joe's in Charlotte, thought he had a unique singer/songwriter vibe to him. Then he went to Nashvilleywood, and became a brocountry douchebag.

He's from Granite Falls where my Dad lives, and every said that growing up he was definitely not a 'country boy' more like a Skater Chick. So Fvck him. Never see another dime of money from me or my kinfolk.

BTW those in need of a country hero: Try Aaron Lewis (Staind frontman) esp when he's solo.

Yes, true he's a damn Yankee, and a former nu-metal rocker god. But he's as pure country as Merle Haggard, HUGE bowhunter, flys a Culpepper flag, and a HUGE 2A dude. Here he is knocking a drunk dude off of him while he's on stage performing :D

WARNING about the NSFW language, but it's an 18-up concert

I mean it like this;
When someone insists that there are 74 proper gender pronouns, punch them in the face.

When someone (without a confirmed diagnosis of celiac disease) talks about being gluten free,
Punch them in the face.

When some hipster sports a man bun,
Punch them in the face.

When a celebrity uses their fame as a soapbox to discuss complex issues that they are not bonified experts in (aka most of hollywood, most of the time)
Punch them in the face.

Anything, ever, that has been uttered allowed in “The view”
Punch them in the face.

I see this not even as an American freedom, but as a human freedoms,
As in “your behavior is weakening the human race as a whole, and if aliens are watching and they see that crap, they will definitely blow us up”

Is that what you really feel?
Yeah, this is the same mindset as people like ANTIFA - dont think like me then you deserve a punch in the face.

Thankfully, our great nation and all of it's freedoms allow you to have those thoughts.

I don't follow?

Seriously? Where were you in the early 2000's? Probably best you just google it. Short version is they took what was a highly successful career and flushed it down the crapper; mainly due to the fat one running her mouth. Country fans didn't approve and *poof*, it was almost like they never existed. I can't remember the last time I heard their music on the radio with any regularity.

What ticked me off was when the fat one started hating on Toby Keith's song, "Red, White and Blue", calling it "ignorant". A few months after that, guess who you still heard on the radio (and guess who you didn't).

Apparently the "chicks" didn't get the memo that most country fans don't care for potty mouthed, feminist wannabes.

I remember they said they didn't like bush, I didn't either.

Actually, that's not exactly what the fat one said that started all their troubles. Like I said, do some research.

As an added note, she later apologized for what she said but then recanted her apology a few years after that. So at least she shares one common trait with >actual< women in that she can't make up her frickin mind.

I looked it up she said she was ashamed that he was from texas and they didn't want the war and violence. Me too and I voted for him.

Yep, she said that,..... while performing in a foreign country to a foreign audience. I don't seem to recall her having the balls to continue doing so once she was back stateside. Funny how that works ain't it? I didn't give a crap one way or another about that though - it was when she trashed TK's song about the 911 attacks that turned me off.

That don't bother me either but I don't know what she said about that. As far as country music goes I like them better than Toby Keith. Nothing against Toby, its just that he's not country.

ETA: I looked up the Toby Keith thing. She said the song was ignorant and that anyone can write "a boot up your ass". She's probably right about that. She is a liberal and she is antigun, and pro choice. I have a problem with that.

If I researched most of the artist's stances that I like to listen too, I'd probably have to give up music. But when they come right out and say it, instead of focusing on entertaining, I usually take note of it.

Pretty sure Aaron Lewis and Jamie Johnson are on the 2A side though. Johnson canceled a show in Myrtle Beach because they wanted him and his band to go through metal detectors. He refused because he carries. They packed up and left.

Goes back to my post/rant the other day about meeting the heavy construction equipment sales rep and seeing his true colors...

They've infiltrated our ranks. Heck...let me be so bold as to say I'd bet serious monopoly money that there are some reading this very forum that identify as "gun people" who have gun control thought tendencies. I guaran-damn-tee it.
There's even one in this very thread....not actively commenting, but here.

Eric who? Screw him, whoever he is.

Haven't bought any music since Willie Nelson's Stardust Album. I like what another Forum member posted in another thread about entertainment figures...Put your stupid hat on and go dance a gig for me boy!

Aaron Lewis is on the Andrew Wilkow show once in a while. I am confident in saying he is a pro 2nd guy. And not a pinko commie like most musicians.

Total agreement they just needed to stfu. I've come across many women in my travels that didn't know when to stfu. They never last. Anywhere they go.
And they always seem to have cops around them.
If you're at a party and wanna know which ones to stay away from, just ask one of your nice lady friends there. The ladies know which ones the wacko's are.

*Best 911 song imo is Have You Forgotten by Darryl Worley.

I dont know many, but I like "Open Letter to NYC" by the Beastie Boys. Just that they are strong, coming together and WILL rebuild.
And its the mother freaking BEASTIE BOYS!

Just to show how stupid Eric Church is on the topic, he wants more background checks so that no one can amass that much firepower. But the LV shooter passed BG checks every time. I guess he thinks that we need "common sense" limits on the number of guns a person can own.

I don't think much of many of the new up and coming country artist. They are a bunch of panty waisted, sissy men with manginas where their nuts should be. Eric Church is right there among them. He has no factual basis for any of his comments, yet he spouts off to be popular with the "OH MY GOD WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING" crowd. I am not saying anything I would not say directly to him. Traitor in my book.

Almost every morning here. I like Biggie, the Chris’ are ok.

I listen to two guys named Chris every morning on the way to work, and every night on the way home. Biggie is my favorite, and Chris Kelly is a big puss, but still funny. I like Eric Church as well, not for his opinion but for entertainment value.

Entertainers, who wish to be successful in their careers need to stick to doing just that. They exist to entertain the masses. I don't care to know their know their personal opinions on things, and I could give two shits what they think politically (which is why I don't understand why people are swayed by their videos prior to an election).

Want to ruin your career, open your mouth about your opinion, as this jackass did. Don't forget that hipster and fake country "star" Jason Aldean feels the same way.
