We‘ve got Wegman’s in the Raleigh area and a local pizza/speedie joint with folks from Binghampton. I’d be glad to grab some Lupo’s and meet you somewhere when I head up to the mountains. I head that way about once a month or so. There is usually only small bottles available, but the pizza joint has had gallon jugs on occasion.

Awesome! I'm over in Mt Airy for now. We haven't really had to much time to look around yet. Couple more weeks and my wife and I will get a chance to go house hunting.

I like this area and it works well for me for work. I travel a lot up through Virginia and up into Pa.

The most surprising one to me was the general friendliness, such as a random person in the grocery store line making a nice comment or asking me a question about something in my cart. Up North the common response would be, “why are you looking at my cart?! Mind your own business!” Haha

That’s good to know. Still not made the voyage up there yet. May need too. About 2 years ago I was up in New York and stopped in a wegman’s the lady said there were looking at land near charlotte/ lake Norman area. That would be awesome.

I find western NC to be very similar to most of NY above Westchester - which is about 80% of the state. Similar politics, lifestyle, geography and attitude - just too much damn snow, and the state gov't sucks, of course.

I moved from LI. One of my closes friends I have met down here was an officer and the acting chief of Newburgh for a while. I hope he does not know you professionally. :D

Although it's been a while, I did work EMS in both from time to time. The city is a shit hole. Gangbangers paradise

No idea, I did not know there was a city or town difference. As a matter of fact when he told me Newburgh I thought he meant NJ, that is how much of a LI boy I was.
