I am convinced that the Xenforo search function is a fake add-on to the software. It stinks on any forum that uses Xenforo, but it’s better than VBulletin, because VBulletin is from the debil.
Hey, at least this can search for three letter words, like FAL. :p

And I should add, despite my annoyance with Xenforo’s lack of effective search capabilities, it is likely the best forum software available to my knowledge.

It’s search function is surprisingly poor given that the backend is a SQL database.

oh, NCGO is the site people left and refer to as crack smoking canadians?
I honestly thought it was some different site...
I'm on NCGO, started out on there, actually - but it's dead most days. I had to come here to buy stuff.

No Crack Smoking Canadians was another site. NCGO was mostly absorbed through inertia rather than intent.

so... what site was crack smoking canadians?
NCGO was nice, good people. some of the same people as here, really. just slow.

Let's see if this forum is still open minded...It seems that things have gotten a bit slow around here lately, kinda like it did over there bef0re it went downhill. Anybody else getting that impression?

I wasn’t here during the big split, only been a member a year, but every morning I click that new post tab and there’s over well five pages of posts to go through. How do you consider that slow?

seems like you might have something of a axe to grind?

Carolina Shooters Club. Mostly a ghost town now. Still get PM's about holsters every now and then over there. Only check if I get an email notification.

Have you figured out why people refer to it as that?

if not...Chief just told you what the site was. Type the equivalent to CFF for that site and find out when you preview or submit your reply

I haven't been back there in a long time, doubtful I could even remember my password at this point. However, one of our other forum members here mentioned it was still fairly active and still getting new members, is that not true?

For a long time there were very few new posts and most were from just a handful of members, including staff. It might have picked back up a little, I don't know. Just seems like a lot of the forum is dead space with no activity. I'm a member of a couple fly fishing forums like that. They are just kind of fading away.

Not at all, just seemed that way to me.

The EE is the only thing there that has much action. I’ve gotten a few good deals, but most stuff there is kinda high end.
