Fake leupolds.

How do you identify them?

If anyone ever has one that is in question, send me a PM with the info. A good friend of mine works in support at Leupold and odds are he might be the one you talk to if you call in, so I could just text him direct and save you the trouble of having to call customer service.

I have a friend that got one off eBay, knock off 10x Mk 4, he was pissed, but caveat emptor and all. But....it actually worked pretty dang well for maybe 5 years before it started fogging all of the time.

Put the serial number in their website and it will let you know. They will tell you not to send your Leopold in for service till you have verified it is actually one. They even admit the copies are very good. Had one I got in a trade I though was fake, went to their website and found out if was the real deal. So the deal I got on the trade was even better than I thought.

That was my thoughts. If it is decent and cheap and I still get the street cred for the gold ring then win win lol.
