What do you pair you Dead Air Mask can with? So many types of 22 to choose from

Anything will be fine, I try and grab boxes of Aguilla subsonic whenever I run across it.

For 9mm the most quiet ammo I have found is Federal Syntech 150gr.

CCI SV for the long barrels…including the 15-22 pistol that’s just under 8”.

But the 4.5” 15-22 SBR gets bulk pack, usually Blazer.

ANYTHING!!!

I run my mask with anything. Mostly CCI sv or Blazer. I also run mini mags to quiet through it. Mostly a 22-45, charger, 15-22 or 457.

I want some cci suppressor to try but I can’t find it in stock.

The quiet won’t cycle the semi autos, but it’s really fun to shoot even if you manually cycle the slide. I was hitting steel at 50 yrd using the 22-45 and it was nothing but giggles.

CCI SV.
Once you’ve shot the first couple bricks you’ll have a good enough sense of it to evaluate others.

Cabelas was carrying some CCI quiet, picked it up but haven’t had a chance to try it out yet.

Looks like a lot of votes for SV

I gravitated towards CCI SV, in hopes of running it exclusively (no real reason, except that's what I have the most of), but I found out it won't cycle my 4.5" 15-22 SBR. That was disappointing, but I do have plenty of bulk pack.

Sigh.

I’ve heard that from others. Just not sure if I’ve ever shot any in mine.

CCI makes a suppressor-oriented 45 grain round. I bought a bunch of it during the pandemic as it was available. Did a side by side comparison with CCI SV through my SW victory with dead air mask, and the difference in sound is tiny. The 45 grainers were like barely quieter. I’d say unless someone is comparing them it’s not noticeable. From a bolt action rifle the difference was imperceptible.

CCI SV is pretty much my everyday round in most .22 hosts. I did score some CCI Suppressor 45gr LHP and found it works great out of my 455 on garden varmints (squirrels to rabbits to even possum). For tiny hole work 99% of match grade ammo is subsonic so whatever each .22 likes best gets fed.

I’m a plus what ever for the CCI standard. I have ran some CCI quite. It’s super quiet but won’t cycle semi autos. The point of impact is drastically different than the CCI standard. So even in my bolt gun I run the standard.
