Just thought about starting a thread about great places to eat near gun show locations. I generally look for places to eat when I go out of town to shows.

The other weekend I went to the show in Salisbury NC and found a place called Hoff's grill and had a Chilli-Cheese Porkchop burger. It was F'n delicious. Had come kind of battered fries that came with it that were pretty good, but ended up concentrating on the burger.

Awhile back at the Columbia fairgrounds show my brother and I ended up eating at a place called the Kingsman, it was also delicious.

Another favorite when I'm down in Columbia is The Lizards Thicket. If you like meat and veggie places they've got good food and are a small chain based around the Columbia area.

The Asheville show alot of times I end up over at FrenchFry's.

If you're going through Concord stop by The Smoke Pit. Love their brisket

We usually go to Nattys after the Greensboro show. Mellow Mishroom after Winston.

I stumbled upon The Lizard Thicket about a year ago. It was great.

For Charlotte two of my standby's are.
Midwoods Smokehouse. Try their version of chili-cheese fries made with pulled bbq and pimento cheese, could make a meal just off that.

or
Nana's Soulfood Kitchen, they have some awesome food here, prob the best pinto beans I've had out anywhere. I always get a to go order from there of beans and corn bread and take it to work for lunch.
