Bit further out than I usually go, but I'll keep it in mind the next time I get on that side of town

It is seriously worth the trip. The wife and I would go to the Farmer's Market on Yanceville St. on Saturday and hit Spring Valley for breakfast on the way back home. Nothing fancy, just good Southern cooking.

Im sure, but its quite far from me.
Im in WS, go to GSO once a week (sometimes twice) but rarely past Wendover exit.
I looked up the place, about 40 minutes from my house

If you like Greek food, try the Grecian Corner down below Baptist Hospital. Best Greek in the area!
Eh, not a huge fan. I know the place youre talking about though (I think, small white building near Hardees and the c-store?)

Con Con's in Bowling Green has awesome breakfast, just ask @gunbelt , Spring Valley in Greensboro has the best sausage gravy biscuits around. For dinner I like Pavilion.
Connie & her family were neighbors when The Olde Dragon & I lived in Sugar Grove, KY. She had 2 older sisters & a brother. All those girls were fine. She grew up playing with my oldest from my 1st marriage. All those girls could cook because they learned from a Momma that was as good a cook as my Momma was. Her Dad & I tied on many a drunk in Sugar Grove.

Any..

Hell, I hate driving past them, they reek
When I was still on Active Duty, I could get a couple of days out of a starched and pressed uniform. I went into a Libby Hills on evening and my uniform reeked with stale grease smell! I got one day out of that one! Haven't been back and that's been a while!

I eat at Jason's Deli almost every day...sometimes twice a day, for a couple years. Get the same thing every time. Salad bar with a side of grilled chicken.

Ignore the online reviews. Most are positive. Some older ones are negative. If you are in the High Point area, Full Kee is awesome for good Chinese food. They have the best shrimp fried rice I've ever had the pleasure of eating.

3793 Samet Dr. High Point, NC.

favorite breakfast spot in High Point NC?

Wife and I went to Curt's Cucina in Southern Pines last night. Place was outstanding. Real Italian food. Great pasta, generous portions, and incredible dessert. Priced competitively with Olive Garden but lightyears ahead in quality.

I use to enjoy Spiro's on S. Main many years ago. I have no idea if they are still good. Had a fire last year, don't know if they have reopened.

(Sorry I wasn't more helpful.)

If Biscuit Factory on Eastchester is still open, they were always good for a quick bite in the morning. Big squared biscuits make for a good sandwich.

(They also have pretty good hot dogs if it has gotten to be lunch time.)

Not sure how close to high point it needs to be, but Breakfasttime in Arcadia was always a great place when I lived in Davidson County

I live five from there, havent been in years...sort of forgot it was there lol

Well, just left there.
Had a grilled tenderloin biscuit and hashbrown...not bad.

But, unfortunately, as soon as I started on my biscuit I thought of a great place about five minutes away - BBQ Specialists. Their fried tenderloin biscuit is fantastic!

Country BBQ just off 68 and Galilmore Dairy on Sedgebrook St. has a great fried tenderloin biscuit.

Very true, but further than I typically go.

I miss the one that was near the bowling alley in HP

There's a Carter Bros. BBQ on North Main. I've never had their fried tenderloin biscuit but if it's anything like their barbecue it should be good.

Only had their breakfast...I wont go back for it again.

Not that bad, just not worth it.
Service was crap and portions were very small for the price

If you're ever around 54/55 in Durham, back behind the Cookout in a odd little complex, you'll find this joint... It's super legit...

Name reminds me a bit of a place that was in a gas station near the Dash stadium in WS - "Dibs"
As in, "I call dibs on it"

They had a little restaurant inside with EXCELLENT food. Guy was just starting out, an excellent opportunity for him to get his restaurant started adn built up...shortly after opening the city bought that property and they closed that gas station and, of course, his restaurant.
Dont know what he ever did after that.

No, it was called Dibs (I know Bibs...very good!).
Was at the Sunoco (I think) station on the corner of Broad and 1st...it's no longer there.

Bibs opened during this same time, girl I went to HS with, her dad is the owner/coowner. I really like their food, very good stuff and large portions for the money
