Fayetteville, NC Gun Show February 2-3

I thought I saw you, but then you weren’t there when I turned around again. I’m sorry we didn’t get to chat!

Crowd was pretty good today, but sales weren’t high volume. Still had a decent day. Picked up a nice Star PD on the way in, so that counts as my cool find for the show so far. Even had an unobtanium extra factory mag.

How much did the PD run you? I gave my Father in law one many years ago and someone stole it from his truck. I was thinking of trying to find him another one.

$425, which was a real deal with the extra mag and the high condition of the gun. I rarely see PDs anymore. You can sometimes score a shooter grade gun for $350ish on Gunbroker, but after shipping and transfer, you are pretty close to that price.

Went with my daughter around 11:00, and wished I’d stayed home. There was NO powder, and no projectiles unless you wanted 223 or 9mm, and even then selection was slim. I did buy the only box of CCI 450 primers there.

I guess I’ll start going to the shows in Raleigh, because the gun shows are where I normally get my reloading components. I did renew my NRA membership, so I got in the show free.

As far as ammo goes, there was a guy named Bill in the left rear corner he had obscure dies and ammo. There were a few holster makers there. But not much else. Couple original rifles floating around. Stuff like that, nothing truly cowboy screaming.

You missed the Colt Single Action Armies on one table, then. Ahem.... :D
