The C&E Gun Show is this weekend at the Crown Coliseum complex in Fayetteville. We will be there, as usual.

Who else is going?
 
I’m planning to be there Saturday afternoon. Still need to find a magazine for my no1 mk3 project.

Bring your rifle. One mag dealer I know has them won't be there due to illness. However, there is usually another mag dealer at this show that carries Enfield mags.

I’ve stuck the minimum of this rifle together to fit a magazine. Still need to find a few small parts.

Not saying you should do this, because i think it's illegal...
but what happens if you have an IWB gun and an empty OWB holster? what happens if you get caught?
do you just get asked to leave, or do you get arrested? just a ticket?

Went to the show around 12:00. Stopped by and spoke to cubrock; always nice to see a forum member! Looked high and low for a no1 mk3 magazine, but no luck....

I did find an older Marlin 25 22lr in great shape for $100. The old micro groove barrels are very accurate.
 
might go a little before the end of show. You get less to pick from, but some people want to have less to pack up...
 
So I went Saturday wandered about, then sumpin caught my eye....

RUGER 5.7...
It felt sooooooo good in my hand, 800.00

dammit..I’m still tinkering with the jeep

They’ll be well under $700 if you are patient. One online retailer was taking preorders at $630 or something like that. Last time I did an order with them like that, it took 4 months, but I saved some money.

Saw those a couple months ago at a different show. Turkish import. I think Hickok45 and a number of other online gun hacks have done reviews on them.
Sorta like the Armscor and Rock Island level stuff, but unknown ( to me) parts and service situation. They also make the BR9, a Browning Hi Power-ish homage.

Friend of mine works for one of the big three national gun dristributors. He said FN Five Seven sales have dropped dramatically since Ruger's announcement of their 5.7 pistol.

they deserve it.
I can't think of anything the fiveseven does that the 57 doesn't do at a lower price. And 57 is from a usa company, made in the usa.
 
My brother and I showed up and filled a table or 2 beside Cubrock. 1st show we did in over 7 years! Had a great time, sold some stuff and talked with a lot of good folks. If you came by our tables, thanks so much! Cubrock as always- great to see you, bro!
