That is sarcasm you are reading. My new PitBoss was set for delivery on Tuesday....first they informed me it was coming on a 53ft trailer....told them sorry I live in a neighborhood with private roads that are narrow and my neighbors will eat them alive if they block the road...they also asked me to be home for delivery @3....package was delayed in Atlanta on Monday so I called the dispatch in Atlanta she said they have a trailer in front of it...when I explained it had been in Atlanta since Saturday she said we've had alot that have been here since Saturday....so I'm set to take off work early on Wednesday to be home by 3...driver calls @ 11 hey buddy I'm 30 min away....told him I'd be home @ 3 and had plans @5....he tells me the box is full of holes...I call him back @ 430....he's over an hour away...refused the package as damaged and next day asked the terminal to open it up to see how bad it is. I'll never use Fed EX if I have a choice. The driver stole my sons Christmas present last year, the very hard to find PS5. It was out for delivery two days for before Christmas and just disappeared. Called Fed Ex several times which was a joke. Called the local news station trouble shooter and was told they had received several calls with the same complaint. They said they were working on a story but I never saw it.
 
I just got home from work and there was a small amazon package on the porch. I hoped it was the gel coat I’ve been waiting to get for a couple of weeks. As I walk up to the box I can smell chemicals and the box is a little damaged but not bad. Open it up and sure enough a whole quart of gel coat is busted in a plastic bag inside the box.

They shipped the upgraded controller right away...took two days to finally get someone one the phone that was competent enough to handle it....one guy said yep it shipped I'll email you the tracking it showed delivery pending....look at it....sure enough it's for the damaged grill.
 
I wish they’d have thrown that damaged box into my dumpster that’s out there.
 
You should look up my thread about a female FedEx driver we have had show up a couple of times.

I purposely over exaggerated some parts of that thread just to be silly, but the part about the insanely loud kicking on our door part was all true.
 
See this all the time at receiving at the HD I work at, vendors ship stuff in the same cheap CHICOM boxes without any care.
That carton should have had reinforced edge protection banded to all four sides top and bottom.
