Felon Arrested With 553 Firearms

I wonder why the guy would bother "hiding" 91 of them. And how come they missed them during the first search?

You're going to love the photo with the article.

Over 20 in that pic are AR uppers.... that’s a lot of surplus looking rifles above though.

Tax evasion can make one a felon. Wonder if he needs to be shot or just has bad luck. Article doesn’t say. Go figure...

Of course in California they'll destroy all the weapons.

Actually, from gunlaw.com, the last bit about seized weapons says:

Finally, what happens to seized firearms that are not returned to the owner or released to a licensed dealer? Seized firearms may be destroyed, sold at auction to holders of Federal Firearms Licenses or retained for "...use in carrying out the official duties of the agency..." or delivered to the military.

So basically they can sell them for a profit, or just keep whatever they want. You expect any less from the crown?

anyone else notice that while they mention ammo they don’t say “forty seven million rounds” and they don’t show stacks of ammo in the picture. I think there was very little ammo, FWIW.

I wonder if they’re counting the 23 AR uppers as firearms. Knowing CA, I certainly expect them to.

Redneck Revolt was the owner and they just forgot to register. They are free to come pick them up anytime.....

At a conservative $450/gun, that's a $290,000 collection.
