I have been on the hunt for a farm rifle for some time, I wanted something that could shoot a projectile that was between 90-150gr, that could be used for deer season, and was decently lightweight. I was hoping to pick up a lever action, because I wanted something that wouldn’t stick out like a sore thumb. I just never found “the one”
Another member stated that he was thinking about getting out of 6.5g and I took that opportunity to message him.
Picked up ruger in 6.5grendal, I set my son up a 6.5g ar to hunt with so this was an awesome fit. It’s wearing a vortex crossfire II 4-14x44 that will probably get move to his rifle once I can find a couple lpvo optics and then it will be perfect. I’m not in any hurry, but super excited about it none the less, I’ll also be running it suppressed most of the time.

I think you made a much better choice over the lever gun.
When it came down to thee final few guns I was looking at it was in this order
1. Howa or ruger in 6.5g
2. Henry lever or BLR in 308
3. Lever action in 30-30 or 357mag
So I got my number 1 pick, like I said the only thing I may change is a lighter optic to get it below 7lbs

Nice rifle! Those are not the easiest rifle to find right now. And especially at a reasonable price.
