I've purchased several NFA items using the kiosk at Clayton Guns. Is there any way to reuse the fingerprints taken with that machine with an amnesty SBR Form 1?
It seems entirely too first world for the ATF to be able to do this, but thought I'd ask anyway (it's not like my finger prints have changed).

Barring that is there a particular revision of the finger print cards that I need to use?

I looked into that when I was trying to create my NFA trust but could not figure out how to get my fingerprints off of SiShop, so I got electronic scans don’t at the UPS Store on 70. I had them within an hour of leaving there

Thanks. How does that work? Are the prints associated with the fingerprint card ATF has, or ...?

Appreciate it.

They are in EFT format and can be submitted at the same time as your eForm 1 and picture, so no having to mail them separately. I haven’t pulled up the actual scans but, when I registered for the appointment (all day, not a set time), I could select ATF fingerprints, so they should be a direct replacement for the physical cards.

The EFT file contains information on all of your fingerprints as well as first name, last name, and other identifiers to verify your prints match your submitted info. They’ve got the software that can utilize the file format

I did regular paper cards at my local sheriff and mailed them off the day after I efiled and so I efiled on a Sunday night and by Wednesday lunch, the cards were already at the ATF

Next time I’ll have the ETF done in advance however

You can go to PrintScan.com and set up an appointment with a location closest to you, and they’ll give you a link to download the .eft file.

Some decent info in this thread on tips for the process.

SS will sell you hard copies of your cards for $40, which is a total ripoff. Their website currently says they can’t give you the .eft format.

Printscan is the way to go.
I point all my customers that way. I've had a few that tried to get SS to send them the eft file so they could buy at my shop. Once they figured out thats how SS "gets you" they quit buying from them.

I can tell you first hand that that guy knows what he's talking about. Sometimes. Ok, maybe just once in a while.

And if any of you have your fingerprints on file at Capitol Armory from a purchase there, they will send you a copy of your EFT file for $35, unlike Silencer Shop. I wish I'd known this before using Print Scan, but not a big deal in the scheme of things.

How long does a printscan appointment take?

i have a really bad habit of finding some service i like the idea of and then buying an expensive new toy to buy into that service...
I have 5 stamps in process right now...
who's my nearest participating dealer and how cheap can I buy in?

My appointment took about 15-20 minutes, and only that long because it was a pain to get the machine to recognize my rolled pinky prints.

And Capitol Armory allows purchase using an eForm 4 from the comfort of your couch. Other than getting my trust notarized, I did it all from home, including rolling my own prints on paper. Once they received them, they were scanned in so future purchases would be easier.

i cant find my print kit. I need to get an eft for my form 1 shenanigans... but i've got 2 i already submitted on account of not wanting to get too far behind the ball with this pistol brace stuff. been too lazy to submit for a while, this got me off my butt

I assume you mean silencer shop and not silencer co but this link should get you want you want if you've used the SS kiosk. You can also order the cards for free from the aft and roll your own. https://www.silencershop.com/completed-fingerprint-cards.html
If you have used the silencershop kiosk before you can order completed fingerprints card as bigdave stated. Thats what I did to send with my recent Form 1 to turn a scorpion into a SBR.

Did mine today at the UPS store in High Point. That machine was finicky as hell. Took about 30 minutes to get my prints done including 2 overrides 😡😡.

I had my EFT file emailed to me 15 minutes after I left. You have to (if not mentioned earlier) open the link with a computer as a mobile device will not allow. So I got home and clicked the link to download. Sent an email to myself with EFT attached & saved it to my phone then. 🤷🏼
