Yesterday was a good day to burn.
At my son's house first. Moderate size fire. He has a ton of stuff to burn.
Then later at my house, some of us just sitting around talking.
Was a good day.

Beautimus!!! Looking forward to one of my own this weekend after getting back from Chicago.

Last weekend maintenance: Dug out the 2022 ashes (8" deep) from the pit and disposed of them. Lots of nails from the pallets.

Inspection of the grating showed it will only last one more season. Gathering replacement steel... 5 years is good for home made to custom specs.

All set for the'23-'24 season. Lit the official kick off fire!
