So, I need to get one of my lowers re-cerakoted. And I want to get an upper done to match.

However, after seeing the Q Honey Badger... I'm kind of digging the look of clear anodizing on 7075 aluminum.

Anybody in the triangle do firearm anodizing and could do a clear anodizing like Q does?

No FFL anodizers in the Carolinas that I know of unless a new business has cropped up lately. Pioneer Anodizing in Gaffney, SC was an FFL licensced anodizer but a fire about 2 years ago put that branch out of business. Closest FFL Anodizer is US Anodizing in Virginia. They are Colts primary anodizer.

Some good info on their website.... http://www.usanodizing.com

Pricing for services.... http://www.usanodizing.com/pricing.htm

Literally type in Anodizer in google. Most around Raleigh area have there FFL. I've gotten my 80% lowers done.

There is only one commercial anodizer in the Raleigh area per Google... Surtronics. They do not have an ATF 07 licence and the dont do any FFL anodizing (firearms). Where did you get your lowers done??

I'm also in RDU and would like two stripped lowers coated

They do have a min charge of $159. I've got 6 I need to get done. Could get group together and split the cost. I did call turn around time is 3-5 days. Below is screen shot of their website, clearly shows FFL and ITAR compliant.
