I’m reading the book now. It’s a bit much to get through—not as exciting as other astronaut biographies. Then again, Neil wasn’t too exciting of a guy. He was just in the right place at the right time. No extra theatrics or antics needed.

Hopefully the movie gives us a little shot of space adrenaline or at least makes our kids ask why we don’t do that stuff anymore...

Just saw this trailer and really liked it, Im excited about this movie.

9/10 - have you read The Right Stuff?
I started it years ago and got sort of bored after a few pages, but maybe I should try again?
Sort of in a slump with the two books Im currently reading

Never read the book. If I recall, the movie was long. There’s a helluva lot of material to cover in the timespan that the story covers.
