First movie I’ve considered going to the Theater to see in a LONG time

It looks interesting.
Almost all ‘scary’ movies seem like they’re after the early teen audience with splashy blood and startle scenes.
This one may crawl around in your cranium a bit. I’m waiting to see some of y’all’s feedback.

These are the kind of horror I like, this is the first time I'm seeing this or learning of this film as I don't watch TV or catch ads but I am adding this to films I want to see this year.

I just watched a short video from a priest who acted as a consultant with the film's producers. Paraphrased: it is not a horror film, but it is horrifying; it is intellectual and theological reflecting the manipulative nature of the Devil.

Its a psychological thriller

I read the book. The movie is based on the book...but different. It is the only book I've ever read that made me so mad I quit reading it.
Highly recommended

In what way? Definitely would like to read it before seeing the movie

I would consider the movie to be a prequel to the book. There is no reason to read it before seeing the movie. The book shows up at the very end.

In the book, the part about Herman Gosnell snapping newborns babies necks with forecepts...makes my blood boil. But Gosnell is not referenced in the film.

This is the first I’ve seen of this movie.

Looks like it could be really good. Might mess you head for a bit afterwards.

Looking forward to hearing feedback from someone who goes to see it.
