Did my first yesterday. Super easy to do, not super cost effective if you get really customized which is what I did. Took it out this afternoon and still have both eyes, 10 fingers, and 3 nipples. Had to FTE but both happened with ETS mags. Factory Glock mag and a Glock mag with +5 extension all ran flawless about 100 rounds a piece. Mix of 147gr ball and HP. I need a better holster for it for sure, Bravo Concealment doesn’t fit the light quite right. The trigger cut doesn’t fit my giant finger either. Overall I’m happy. Going to get it back out to zero up the RMR since today was more of a function test than anything.

I haven’t owned a Glock in a decade, the trigger still SUCKS. Researching what to go with now.

Good looking gun, but Your big ass needs the glock 17 size.

He doesn’t really have a third nipple, it’s his goober

Nice work! I need to build the one I have ...somewhere....

Any problems at all, or just the basic YouTube style hack and grind?

I’ve got a drill press so drilling the holes was easy. The videos I saw online were saying you shouldn’t have to really hammer the pins in, I did. Cut more out of the spring channel than what you think. I had to go back in and take some more material off since the recoil spring was getting caught.

I’ve got a 17 frame that I did first. That way if I screwed up it would be in a spare frame not the one I wanted to build. Now I’ve got a 17 frame to buy parts for a bit at a time.

This is the trigger upgrade you want. I put one of these in each of my Glock Clone builds... Then, I put one into each of my factory Glocks.

I love this trigger...

I like it!

My Brother roped me into helping him do a "not-a-glock 19" recently.

I was surprised how nice it turned out...was quite impressed by the ergonomics of it.

I then found me a PF45 frame and have been collecting parts for it <_< almost done. just a barrel and sights left to go.

Totally agree with you that it’s easy but get expensive quickly. Because of so many OEM parts being OOS, I had to upgrade things like the trigger and certain lower parts. Combine that with a slide cut for an optic, Hacksthorne sights, etc and I ended up just over $700, but P80’s aren’t about cost.

I really like the feel and ergos of the P80 frames, but I can’t stand Glock grips. This is a big improvement, but I won’t be ditching my M&P’s.

Pretty much done with this one now.

It took some time to find all the needed parts and get them all together...

I wasn't sure how Id like the grey frame with the stainless slide ( Had considered coating it), but I think it looks pretty good. Also wasnt *quite* sure if Id like the serrations, but something about the pf45 frame design, and grip angle seems to make it work.

Found a great deal on a CMC trigger, so figured I'd try that... It did take some finesse to get the trigger housing to work with the frame.

I'd noted people stating that the rear rail modules lately have been iffy, so I got a set of Rook rear rails and used those. It went together much easier then the p80 I'd worked on with my Brother.

I went with a Lone Wolf " Alpha Wolf" threaded barrel more or less just to get a little more usable barrel length, and figured the flash hider would be "neater" then a thread protector... I also polished the feed ramp because the coating was quite rough. The slide was ordered via Lone Wolf's configurator, and amazingly enough only took me about 1 and a half weeks to get it ( Got super lucky). I also managed to find a CRAZY good deal on a set of TFO sights to finish it off.

The backplate was actually a whim, and was laser engraved by a fellow on Etsy, as a custom design request.

It is heavier then my model 40, but points INCREDIBLY well. At some point I hope to get it out and shoot it.
