Gentlemen...
We know as we attempt to become and stay fit motivation can be challenging. So many competing factors. I would ask y'all to consider F3:
http://f3nation.com/
F3 stands for Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith, it is a peer-led work out, no cost. On the website there is a link to locations and times. Oh, yeah, the networking is pretty awesome, too: in my area there are a couple judges, some lawyers, a bunch of docs, some contractors, financial industry guys...
The fitness ranges the spectrum: overweight guys just trying to give it a go, all the way to for-real American Ninja Warrior competitors and Ironman triathletes, and everyone in between. No judgment, all encouragement and support. Within the group there is a sub-group that participates in "completely senseless and utterly pointless" events like GoRuck, Spartan, Tough Mudder, etc., so if you are into those things there's that.
I workout in the Durham area, so if anyone in Durham wants to give it a go, let me know.
