Yup, that article was full of their typical tripe terminology: high capacity, military style, designed to kill people really fast, assault rifle, machine gun, blah blah blah.
They got a good lesson, one that generation snowflake has been severly lacking: that just because you want something and emote strongly doesn’t mean your going to get it or that it’s the right thing to do; your feelings don’t trump others rights.

Its a tragic massacre for sure. Pure evil. But I’m becoming really tired of the exploitation of teens to turn voters thought process. Damn I’m glad my girls are not looking to cry on TV. They will look pretty and claw your freaking eyes out. I’ve seen them in action.
It's not just the kids. We are doing a rifle event at our next Ladies League meeting to address this issue. Though the ladies are comfortable with handguns, most have not been exposed to long guns in any form. We will do a mini class and take them out on the range with a variety to try.
The teen should save the tears and work on kicking the *sses of threats...and government officials and agencies who don't take multiple reports of threats seriously.
What it really is, its pathetic.....and discouraging to anyone who has a functioning brain. The problem is the "unwashed masses" are in the majority now. Uninformed, easily swayed, and generally oblivious to facts, reality and logical thought.
The thing that is the hardest battle for 2a lovers....is the fact that people generally don't care about things they are not interested in....if you don't own a firearm most think they are unnecessary except for the military and law enforcement. Why would anyone need these killing machines, ban them damn it, now! Only around 35% of American households own a gun, so why would the non owners think they are needed or reasonable for others to posses? Very few people see the bigger picture or even care about the freedoms of others. The ignorance of the general masses is truly staggering.....

Please take my wife. She will have nothing to do with self defense and gun training while our two daughters are both handgun owners and can shoot fairly well. Both have shot skeet, handguns, and an AR15. My oldest daughter has never been near a gun and refuses to do so but she is a victim of her mother’s views. Both daughters 25 and 26 years old are better shooters than me with a AR15 from 100-150 yards. Pinging 4” steel consistently from 150yds with a red dot site with 3x magnified behind it.

Catawba Valley Wildlife Club offers a couple women's classes over the summer usually. They are very introductory classes. All female except the RSO's and teachers. But a few of them are female, we just don't have enough.
Great idea. I’ve noticed that a lot of newer shooters are fine with a handgun, but an AR15 intimidates them. There is only one way to get past that.
It kind of reminds me of our trip to the furniture store yesterday. I found a recliner I liked and my 10 year old daughter hated it. She looked at momma and said," I don't understand why I don't get my opinion heard in which one to buy!" Momma said, "Cause it's your Daddy's chair not yours so deal with it." She pouted for 30 minutes almost in tears saying I just wanted my voice heard.
It works. My sister is a survivor of the Umpqua CC shooting in Oregon 2015. 3 months after I had her at the range shooting an AR and it helped her a lot.

On the surface theses reactions are funny but thinking deeper it is very troubling ... why do these kids think this way? My thought is they have pretty much been fed the liberal agenda by the bias mass media and social medias (with a good dose from the school systems). I don’t think these kids have formed all of this but actually just become a part of the “zombie hoard” and falling in line. My try to get my kid to think on his own, question things and form his own opinions ... except when I tell him to do something ... and not blindly follow. We are seeing the children assimilated more and more by various influences in their lives that are turning the country into the socialist cesspool that will destroy it.
