For the Loadmaster users

I've heard of that one but haven't checked it out as of yet.

I'll have to bookmark that one. I haven't really had many issues so far. I've loaded around 1k round of 9mm on it so far and have had the primers hang up once which resulted in some pulled bullets but not too many. Only other thing I can think of is the brass falling in the case feeder upside down from time to time.

I now have 4 loadmasters, bought them all used, 3 of the 4 were not in the best shape, but one was in like new condition. Took some cleaning, polishing, adjusting, and replacing a few parts but I've managed to get them to work well. The most recent one I bought has a broken carrier and some surface rust, plan on working on that one after the holidays. They are interesting machines, they all work the same way but each seems to have its own little set of quirks to get through before it works well.

Lots of good info on the loadmastervideos website. Ive tried a few of magic mikes upgrades but the only one I really like and use is the larger ball handle.

You can fix that with a penny and a piece of spent .22 brass. Drill a hole in the middle of a penny big enough to slide a piece of empty .22 brass into. Stick that into the hole in the middle of the 4 drop tubes of the case collator. Note, you may have to cut the .22 in half, or use a .22 short if you have one. Either way, drop the 9mm brass in and shake as usual to fill the tubes, no more upside down 9mm brass. (at least not 99.99999% of the time)

You can do the same thing with other materials, the main thing is you just have to reduce the diameter of the collator drop holes a little for the 9mm brass. I hardly ever get upside down cases with .40 or .45 brass.

I have it as well and it is nice!

you loadmasters guys know that we carry most of the parts to fix these beasts here at the shop....

i am a loadmaster guy myself and actually like them better than my dillon 650

lee will most likely send you the parts free or cheaper than we have them, but we have them if you need to get up and running in a hurry

I knew you sold the presses, but did not know you had parts. Will be checking with you first instead of the other online places should I need anything in the future.

They will actually send you any part you need free of charge but they will charge you a pretty hefty shipping fee. I would rather buy a part from you now and even pay a few bucks more then to order one and have to wait. That said if you need to order a bunch of stuff you can come out pretty good. For the "new" old loadmaster Im refurbing and getting some extra wear parts that Im going to be needing, probably around $80 worth of parts the shipping charge was about $30.

i know what you mean, they hit us hard for shipping also, but we order a ton of stuff direct from them so it works out pretty good for us.. most of our press kits, and all of our dies come from them.. the auto disk and the hand primes have to come direct cause none of our distributors don't carry them..

we can also add anything you need to an order and save you on all the shipping... but it depends on when we are ordering as to what we can get for you.

if you want to shoot me a pm with a list of stuff you need we can start tacking it on to our regular orders and save you some coin if we can get them and if you have the time to wait..

Cool, I'll double check what I need and let you know. Thanks.
