I read an article that said no vehicles currently sold qualify for the new EV tax credit because of the Chinese components in the batteries.
 
It could have more to do with the insane dealer markups. Why let dealers and flippers make tens of thousands extra when Ford can?

Maybe Ford is being honest and material costs have gone up. I really don't understand the demand for that POS though. I read a test on them where they towed a 3,100# camper and could only travel about 115 miles before it needed to be charged. That thing is worthless to anyone who uses a truck as a truck and does more than drive around the block with it.

That’s because EV’s aren’t about function. They’re a lifestyle/status symbol, for now.

Yeah but it's not truck users buying it I'm sure, it's virtue signaling douche bags whose wife still wanted an SUV while they wave their symbol about.
