I have been searching for the cup holders that come factory on automatic rangers with the split 60/40 seats. No idea the first year they were offered. I'd presume 2002 and up. Online they want way to much IMO. Plus I never have time to get at the junkyards here.

No clue why these are so hard to come across locally or why ford wants so dang much for new. $40-60 is absurd

In the past I've gotten seats and a console out of expos under $100 in a junkyard....

Anyway if any of you are dealer parts guys or haunt your local junkyards often and see Rangers sitting around. Hit me up. I need the cupholder itself and the two screws that go into the front of the seat to attach it.

Hoping our little community can help me out.

Part number is

See which yards have the truck.

Just be careful, the LKQ in Durham I worked at the ghetto SOBs would crap in the footwells of cars instead of walking a whole 200 yards to the portajohns.

Also the interiors are usually torn up by folks getting to other stuff.

I had a 2000 Ranger 4x4 auto with cup holders. That body style started 1998 FYI
Yep, 1998-2002.5 did away with the ttb front end yet still had the Lima 4cyl (punched to a 2.5l ftw lol)and the non updated 4.0l.

I just haven't researched hard enough over the factory cupholders to find a definitive start date;)

I know in 2011 they had em (my trucks year) all the way back to 2005 (the last sheet metal change) but idk about this specific part before hand.

I've had several of those over the years but for this I'd like the factory part lol.

In my 92' ranger with the 60/40 seat (which had no factory cupholders) I found that one of those recycled cupholders things that fast food places give you with a few drinks ordered secured itself just dandy between the two seat backs and the fold down armrest giving two cupholders for free. Even did a little write up for it on TheRangerStation.com
