Imma say, I was spinning out just pulling out of the gas station today in the rain.Needs 4x4 for boost launches. 😁
When I worked at Sears auto center in Charlotte in the early ’70’s there was a nearly new Dodge Challenger on the lift in the brake lanes one night when we closed.
On the side of the front fenders it had “340” badges. Which was not considered impressive back in the day. The hood was up, so we looked under it.
426 Hemi, with two four barrels.
Sleeper.
Quite what? 🤔Late '60s in Winston-Salem a guy I knew had a ratted out '57 Chevy.
2 diff colored front finders, rusted hood.
Built 427, 4:11s and very quite.
Took about 3 weeks before everyone found out and no one would race him.
