Kevin Callahan just passed away surfing big waves off the north shore of Hawaii. He was a well-known and highly respected Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman (SARC) who was a recon team leader and had awards for valor. Funnier than hell, could outdistance any SEAL in the water, on the beach, or in a bar.
