Appears unvaccinated soldiers at Fort Campbell could be denied leave.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Fort Campbell soldiers choosing not to receive a COVID-19 vaccine could find their plan for summer leave affected, according to Commanding General JP McGee.

In a livestreamed town hall event, Maj. Gen. McGee announced that soldiers choosing to remain unvaccinated should not “not consider things business as usual,” when making travel plans this summer.

“It would be irresponsible of me to allow soldiers to travel unvaccinated throughout the United States and bring that back and have an impact on our soldiers, their families and our overall operational readiness. I’m sure that’s not gonna be a popular decision for some, and that’s quite alright,” McGee said.

McGee said he and his staff are considering a range of options, including limited range of travel and increased reporting requirements for soldiers; however, no final decisions have been made as to restrictions.

And when a vaccinated soldier brings "that back"...?

All those who have been vaccinated are going to get the Wuhan flu. You just can't have anyone peeking behind the curtain. Pay no attention to the man behind that curtain.

I think this will backfire.

A unit at Lejeune just had a thing because they were charging leave to Marines and Sailors who were in quarantine; the guy who came up with that brilliant idea was taken down hard. I will be curious to see where this goes.

And the vaccines you received had fda approval

Wtf wants to be tested on?

Yup, the irony.

The Nuremberg Code (1947) Permissible Medical Experiments

The great weight of the evidence before us to effect that certain types of medical experiments on human beings, when kept within reasonably well-defined bounds, conform to the ethics of the medical profession generally. The protagonists of the practice of human experimentation justify their views on the basis that such experiments yield results for the good of society that are unprocurable by other methods or means of study. All agree, however, that certain basic principles must be observed in order to satisfy moral, ethical and legal concepts:

1.The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be so situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision. This latter element requires that before the acceptance of an affirmative decision by the experimental subject there should be made known to him the nature, duration, and purpose of the experiment; the method and means by which it is to be conducted; all inconveniences and hazards reasonably to be expected; and the effects upon his health or person which may possibly come from his participation in the experiment.

There were court decisions surrounding anthrax use

You know how that goes:

The vaccine is not mandatory and you must give consent. Failure to give consent puts you into a non-deployable status. If you can't deploy, we can't use you. You will receive a non-punitive letter in your jacket; oh, don't forget, if you are not promotable you will be discharged.

Just like how in the military giving your SSN is voluntary, but failure to do so can lead to cessation of benefits.

Right off the bat, the photo of MG McGee wearing a mask while talking to a camera tells you how much of a boot-licking political suck-up he is.

As I recall we never had a choice. Even after 9/11 we got anthrax and small pox, we were told to stand in line and get the shot.

Same with desert shield/Storm. I was in AIT and we had early formation one morning. We were all vaccinated with something.

Since when do active military get a choice for getting vaccinated? I have been retired since early 90's and we sure in hell did not get a choice. Also if we were going overseas you got a bunch of extra shots.

I was thinking the same thing but with the vaccine rushed to the public it has people worried.
