Found a Glock 19 Gen5 in stock

I found a dealer within 30 miles of me, that had a G19 G5 in stock and not priced crazy, $560 for a NIB gun. Called and put a deposit on it at lunch and will pick it up after work tomorrow.

19x is a decent gun and that’s about going price

I want a 19 slide on a 26 frame. Don't know the single stack nomenclatures, but a similar setup on a single stack wouldn't suck.

The 48 is similar to a 19 slide in the single stack it can hold 10 rounds from the factory. 15 if you do the Shield Arms magazine route. You could also put a 43 slide on a 48 frame and make it a 43x. The 43 frame won’t work on anything but it’s own slide.

Long slide short frame guns you have to go polymer 80 route. You can buy them serialized now too if you don't like using a Dremel.

Walther also makes a 5" barrel PPQ that has a Glock 19 sized 15 round grip. I guess that'd be a 17L slide length?

This is 100% Glock parts except for the lone wolf spacer. Has been 100% reliable so far. I also use a Gen 5 17 RMR slide on this frame.

Just curious, are you saying the 43 frame won't work with the 43x or 48 slides?

A 19 slide will work on a 26 frame. Part of the underslide is exposed, but fully functional. Lone Wolf makes a cover for that.

I consider a 48, basically a skinny 19.
