Looks similar to 38 special 148 grain wadcutters.
Not reading the caliper right, .349 is what it is reading. 38 or 357 wadcutter. Loaded and shot my share of them.

Or, you could let me search the yard for you. I have no problem with digging those pesky nails.I do have a metal detector and breifly used it. I think I was I to my 5th nail when I stopped.
I should really give a good go someday.
No, unfortunately, family obligations will keep me tied up all weekend.are you going to the M&G ?
Taken out of context that sounds like a different proposition entirely.Cool, looks like we have a couple swingers on the site in the Triad.
You all have a club you belong too? That's something I'd like to add doing.
Problem is I don't really have a place to go... parks I guess.Taken out of context that sounds like a different proposition entirely.
I do enjoy metal detecting, but haven't done much in years except an occasional beach trip. But a pretty decent haul at the beach back in May rekindled my interest, and I'm hoping to start again, once my new detector (financed by selling two rings I found on that May trip) gets here. A 171 year-old house is very tempting!
@Unknownpro, I'm in Clemmons if you ever want some company on a hunt. I haven't forgotten everything I used to know.
Family date night? No, unfortunately, family obligations will keep me tied up all weekend.
I walked into that one, didn't I?Family date night?
Aren't there some serious regs on beach detecting in NC?
I haven't looked into it much, been busy working on this old house. But, would like more excuses to get to the beach.

Old house! Do things roll across the floor with no help like in my 1881 house? !olFound these in the yard. About a year apart on different sides of the house. Was picking weeds out of the driveway when I found the one on the left.
Do I have anything worth further examination ?
The house is 171 years old, and pretty much in the town center.
