I'm guessing you are asking about the rotary tumbler? I've been using one for not long after they first came out. I've had nothing but good luck with it. It can hold about 10 lbs of brass, but I have found that it does a better job if you don't fill it up full. I can do about 1000 pieces of 9mm. Not sure about 223, but it can do at least 500, maybe 600. I do my rifle brass in 2 steps, I wet tumble without pins for about 15 minutes. I lube and resize, swage the primer pockets (if needed), then tumble again with pins for about an hour.
If you are talking about the vibratory bowl tumbler, then I have one of those as well. No problems with it.
If you have a LOT of 223 brass, then consider getting a cheap cement mixer from HF.
