Haven't heard back from the lady that said I wasn't in the system...but I did get a reply to my tracking number request:

    Greg,

Our apologies for the delay. The overwhelming success of the promotion literally broke us. Our production department has had to re-evaluate the production schedule to accommodate the increase in free suppressors over projections.

Our plan is to start shipping by the end of November. However, we are working hard to ship sooner.

    Very Respectfully,

So, I replied to that one...copied Camille...and requested one of the extra 45Ks that Scott got be transferred to me. And asked them to confirm I was in the system. o_O

Well...finally a little bit of good news.

    Hello Greg,

I apologize for not responding sooner. I was able to find your registration late yesterday in a separate data repository then the one I originally had had available to me. I will also be looking at assigning one of the 45K to you that Tar Heel has available later today.
I will be in contact with your dealer and copying you in on the correspondence later today.

    Thank you for your patience,

    Camille Thompson

To me, this sounds like a sincere apology and admission of the circumstances. It also sounds like they're doing all they can to catch up. Yes, it sucks when thing don't go smoothly, but it's not like they're just walking away and saying you're screwed.

Do you ever get the sense that maybe sometimes, you could be overbearing and viewed as a harassment, to someone else?

    Just curious....

Kind of like, if I irritated a Taco Bell person, there's probably a 50/50 chance they'll get my order wrong or something worse.

Still no response to my email. About to call again. And email again. This is getting ridiculous. I am also worried if they didn't have Gregs, they don't have mine.

Not counting back-and-forths on the same day when they were asking me questions, that makes 3 emails in 4 months:

1 in June to check on an issue
1 in September when another confirmation email came out and the wording changed from "up to 4 months" to "minimum of 4 months"
1 this week to ask for my shipping number based on the estimated ship time they advertised

So...in this situation, no I don't believe it was overbearing or harrassing.

Other times in my life? Absolutely.

I was extremely lucky. I was due two Octane 45ks and one warlock. I was assigned one and then was able to sweet talk my way into the second one. Thanks @TARHEELSTATE for the heads up and insight. I'm only due the warlock now.

Got the canned response from Jacob. Didn't answer my questions.

    Joshua,
My apologies for the delayed response. The overwhelming success of the promotion literally broke us. Our production department has had to re-evaluate the production schedule to accommodate the increase in free suppressors over projections.

Less than happy to say the least.

Got two more emails over night:

    Hi Joshua,
You are all good to go on your registration. We have started shipping out the promotion suppressor and will continue to do so through the coming months.
Let me know if you have any questions.

    Zach

    Next one:
    Hello Josh,
    Sorry for the delay.
We are currently working on approving these registrations and manufacturing these suppressors. We do have over 11,000 registrations to go through so it will take us longer than expected. However, I can confirm your registration is Validated and everything looks good. Your are good to go on your end. We are starting to ship these this month and plan to have most of them shipped out in the next couple months.

    Thanks,
    Stephen

My F4 is signed and ready to go in the mail.

Here's the kicker. Remember I said she initially told Scott my name wasn't in the database? When I got to THSF this morning, he showed me the slip that came with all the wrong silencers. My name, email, mobile number...no doubt it was me...was on the list of people those cans were assigned to. One of his other customers was also on the list. So if he would've taken her at her word and sent back the whole box, mine would've gone with it. :D

Now I get to sit back and see what other horror/success stories other customers and dealers have with this ordeal...and maybe get approved by Memorial Day '19.

If it takes a little longer than expected, im ok with it. I really do beleive the promotion was more popular than expected. I had been on the fence on buying a new can for a while.........but when the promo came out, i jumped on it. Im sure there were several more like me.

It is amazing how many people I call to say their "FREE" Suppressor is ready to send forms in on and they are out of town of will get by when they can.

Customers have been contacting us to say that they are receiving replies from SilencerCo that it could be another 4 months before all the "FREE" suppressors are shipped out.

We started shipping in October. We will continue to ship as many as possible every month until complete. We expect to send large shipments starting this month and February. We hope to have all suppressors shipped by the end of June. However, with the government shutdown, we are not sure how long it will take them to get through the back ordered forms.

    Very Respectfully,

I should have my Maxim 9 back before some of you get your free ones. It’s looking even possible I’ll have my free one back before then...if it really takes until June.

    That’s just crazy.

Infuriated does not even begin to describe how I feel. But I guarantee you they're producing the f*ck out of their new switchback and such.

I emailed them about 2 weeks ago......no reply. I can understand they are busy........but it is annoying to see a company let you down a little.

I'll forgive them if they give me a $50 webstore credit for every month they are late getting me the can. Right now, they only owe me $200.

Just something really random that’s related to this thread and made me chuckle. This person joined AR15.com 5+ years ago...and made his very first post today in a long thread about the SiCo promotion.

    Dear Valued Customer,

As a suppressor manufacturer, we thrive on setting the standard for quality and innovation, as well as excellent customer service. We have failed to deliver your free suppressor from the SilencerCo Summer Promotion in a timely manner, we apologize. The rebate submissions far exceeded our expectations.

We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to correct this situation for you. Please be assured that you will receive your free suppressor by the 29th of June 2019. We are committed to shipping your suppressor out as quickly and efficiently as possible, but most importantly providing you with a top-quality product. In order to keep this commitment to you, we increased our production and remain focused on quality.

We will provide regular updates on the status of your suppressor. In addition to the updates, we will send an email to you with a tracking number when your suppressor ships. Once the product arrives, it will be the dealer's responsibility to contact you and start the tax stamp process.

We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have so many loyal customers. We want to thank you again for your patience regarding the summer promotion and your continued support of our products.

If you have any questions, please contact our customer service department at (801) 417-5384 or email us at info@silencerco.com.

They are apologizing so hard that I got the note Scott quotes above saying "Sorry we failed to delivery your free suppressor....".

I never bought a suppressor under this program. Unless, the one I bought a couple years ago qualifies under this promo!
