Buying a new house soon and am looking at garage organization/storage. Have checked out the offerings from HF and the crapsman stuff from Lowes any experience and or suggestions?

See how your cars/trucks/bikes fit first. My garage will accommodate an F150 Super Screw cab, BUT, only if I use shelves that are no more than a foot deep. I have a bunch of old shelves that make that work, but I wanted to get newer, taller ones to make better use of the available space, and I learned that shelves that are that shallow are HARD to find. At least any that you would want to own.
I don’t put shelves where the car/truck doors open up to give maximum room to get in and out of vehicles.

I park my truck outside now that the pig is inside, and wife parks a small car on the other side, but even when I looked at putting a second old bike in there, I was like “Where’s all the room??!!"
How high is the ceiling? I built shelves at about 7’ on the sides and front of my garage for storage while maintaining my floor space for parking. My ceiling is 12’, though, so that helped.

It is fairly tall...will definitely have over the door storage also.. asking more so about tool box/cabinet type storage set ups.
